Main Tera Hero" has
garnered positive response from the industry, but critics have called it as
mindless drama.
The film, starring
Varun Dhawan, Nargis Fakri and Ileana D'Cruz, has been termed a mindless comedy
by critics.
Varun, in his second
film, has impressed the critics for carrying the comedy till the end. Actress
Sonakshi Sinha has even termed Varun as the 'new age Govinda'.
Move over Salman Khan,
it's time to make way for "Main Tera Hero" star Varun Dhawan: a star
pupil who seems to have graduated from your school of acting (or non-acting).
"While the first
half is amusing, the second half gets sluggish in the last 20 minutes. At some
point, the love triangle becomes a quadrangle with a voluptuous Nargis Fakhri
entering the frame. Actor Anupam Kher, who plays Fakhri's dad, is in top form
as a dim-witted gangster, while the women take the term 'eye candies' to a
fabulous level.
"But full marks to
Dhawan for carrying a comedy with a questionable plot till the finish line. He
lays on the charm thick and nice. And if that didn't seem to work, he just took
off his shirt."
Music of the movie is
exceptionally well and have got good reviews by the critics. The music is
directed by Sajid- Wajid duo. Some of the mind blowing tracks include “besharmi
ki height” and “shanivaar raati’. Arijit Singh is also a revelation is the
record breaking song ‘Palat-tera hero idhar hai”
The movie has daddy and
son in the lead role. The film also stars, Ileana whose performance in
Barfi was indeed commendable. She has an X factor of innocence in her acting
that directly delivers the story to the audience. While Nargis was last
seen in the lead role with Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Rockstar’. Her acting skills are
though not yet sharpened. She can rise to a great fame with the big banner film
that she is getting. Her dialogues are pretty sulky and does not relate to the
feelings of the story. Still we expect the best out of her this time
atleast. With a big Dhawan banner this movie may get a lot of audience on
its 1st day. This movie is supposed to be quite a hit.
The story starts with
our ‘hero’ falling in love with Sunaina(Ileana). While Varun is mischevious and
clever, Sunaina is pretty. Now, how ca u expect a bollywood movie to go place
without the intervention of a villain. So here walks in our villain Angad,
played by Arunoday Singh. He is a corrupt cop who wants to marry Sunaina
forcibly. To add on to the ‘bollywood masala’ comes in Nargis who is secretly
in love with varun.
The shooting have been
done in quite a scenic locations like Ooty and Thailand Mountains. The
film has got a good set of impeccable music. This movie doesn’t require your
parents’ consent as it is a family comedy. We are eager to watch out for
the fight sequences by Varun. The film will be telecasted in the theatres
near you on 4rth of April. You can sip in a Cola and pop in some popcorn and
enjoy this movie.

TERA HERO is a wild, wacky, madcap entertainer that has the unmistakable stamp
of the master of entertainers -- David Dhawan. An over the top plot, humor
quotient and performances are three aces the film stands on. The film should
work well with admirers of typical Bollywood masalathons,
also because Varun Dhawan pulls off the act with flamboyance and bowls you over
with an uproarious act in this zany entertainer. Go, have fun and laugh out

4th April 2014. It is a second Bollywood movie for Varun Dhawan featuring

There are also some supportive star cast in comedy and humorous characters. It
has opened well at the box office especially in multiplexes during morning
shows according to some reports. Considering the face value of the film the
occupancy has came out to be decent with around 40% in the theaters today.
Evening shows pick much better later in the first day of its release. As there
is no competition for Main Tera Hero so market seems solo for this
movie, no other big release to give competition. The movie has come out quite

Audiences coming out of
hall like the movie and declare the movie a total entertainer. David Dhawan has
put allot efforts in the movie, which are quite seen after watching it.
Theaters were crowded many of the tickets were already booked and houseful.
Morning shows suffer a bit but movie shows good growth after noon. People
coming out after watching this movie is happy and calling it a ‘Paisa Vasool’.
All over the young star cast and the chemistry between all three leads is very
good and funny at the same time which the audience loved most. Opening Day
Box Office Collection of Main Tera Hero is around 7 Crores. It
shows that it got nice response from the public and can earn more in the
upcoming weekend due to lower competition.
