Manipal: After Delhi it seems to be
Udupi. Four men are said to have brutally raped a Medical student of Manipal
University here on June 20..
Girl of
Kerala origin was pursuing her MBBS studies in Manipal University. On Thursday
June 20, at around 11.15 p.m, she was waiting outside the Manipal
University Library. A group of four who came in a auto are said to have
kidnapped the girl and then brutally raped her.
While the girl has been in shock after the incident. The group of four men had escaped.
SP of Udupi Dr Boralinggaiah M B speaking to Mangalorean.com said that the investigation is on and more details will be revealed later.
Some information may be available on the CCTV footage. Manipal police have registered the case. The girl is being treated in a Kasthurba hospital here.
