Arun Vaidyanathan made
the movie by making Mohanlal on spotlight. The movie start with titling
including Super hit Dialogues from Mohanlal movies. And there starts the fun
elements. Mohanlal and Mukesh appear as political leaders of a main party in
kerala. The story of the movie getting into its power pack comedy when
Mohanlal, Baburaj and Aju Vargese went over to USA to help Vijay Babu in
American Governer election. There Mohanlal and team gave some fraud ideas to
won the election. Then the whole movie says how they approaches the election.
South Indian cutie Poonam Bajwa done an item number for the first time in this
movie.

Arun
Vaidyanathan straightly penned against the black side of Kerala politics
also in this movie. The introduction of “Amul Baby” and some other political
dramas creates more fun elements.
Performance Analysis
From the short appearance
of little star Sanoop Santhosh and to the one who done the role of governer
candidate John kery, every one perfectly fit for their roles.
Mohanlal’s stlye is a
positive fact for the movie. Mohanlal appears as Jagannathan alias Peruchazhi ,
a youth politician at kerala. Mukesh done his short appearance as better one.
Vijay babu as lead coordinator of governer election of a party was perfect.
Ragini
Nandwani appears as Mohanlal’s lover, an Indian- American beauty.
Technical Analysis
Story is done by the
director himself and the Perfect lined script for a fun movie by director and Ajayan Venugopalan. But some times it slow down
the power pack performance.
The songs for the movie
are by Arrora, while the cinematographer is Aravind
Krishna. The Oscar nominee Bombay
Jayashri had sung a song. Preethi S Kanthan designed all the costumes.
Mohanlal appears in a totally different getup. The dothi for this particular
movie is designed in roman fashion by M C R., inspired by a Roman Design. This
border is used on the togo worn by Caesar and
his ministers. The leaf in the border denotes power".Raymonds is
making the coats for all characters in the movie.
Bottom Line
Peruchazhi is a good fun movie. But some how the story line misses its flow. And in the second part movie gets slow down little bit but as going to climax it going super fast. At the climax portion, viewers felt like that the director in hurry to conclude the movie. In the tail end also keeping that much fast flow to put End tag.

ഓണം ആഘോഷമാക്കാന്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാലും കൂട്ടരും പെരുചാഴിയുമായി എത്തി. അരുണ്‍ വൈദ്യനാഥന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം നിര്‍മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ഫ്രെടെ ഫിലിംസിന്റെ ബാനറില്‍ വിജയ്‌ ബാബുവും, സാന്ദ്ര തോമസും ചേര്‍ന്നാണ്.
ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ മാറ്റുകൂട്ടാന്‍ പറ്റുന്ന ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ- കോമഡി -റൊമാന്റിക്‌ സിനിമയാണ് പെരുച്ചാഴി.
സിനിമയുടെ തുടക്കം ടൈറ്റിലില്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്ന ലാലിസം ക്ലൈമാക്സ്‌ വരെ നിറഞ്ഞാടി. മോഹന്‍ലാലിന്റെ സൂപ്പര്‍ ഹിറ്റ് ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ സംഭാഷണങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടിയിണക്കിയ ടൈറ്റില്‍ ബാക്ക്ഗ്രൌണ്ട് ഒരു വ്യെത്യസ്ത്തത അവതിരിപ്പിച്ചു. മോഹന്‍ലാലിന്റെ മുണ്ടും മടക്കിക്കുത്തി ക്രിക്കറ്റ് കളിയ്ക്കുന്ന ഇന്റ്രോയും , കുറിക്കു കൊള്ളുന്ന സംഭാഷണങ്ങളും പെരുച്ചാഴിയെ ഒരു ഫാന്‍സ്‌ മൂവി ആക്കി.
കേരളത്തിലെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ അടവുകളുമായി അമേരിക്കന്‍ ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് റിപ്പപ്ലിക്കന്‍ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥിയെ സഹായിക്കാന്‍ പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ജഗന്‍നാഥന്‍റെയും കൂട്ടുകാരായ സത്താറിന്റെയും, വര്‍ക്കിയുടെയും കഥയാണ് ചിത്രം പറയുന്നത്. അമേരിക്കയില്‍ എത്തുന്ന ഈ മൂവര്‍ സംഘം എങ്ങനെ വിജയ്‌ ബാബുവിനോപ്പം ചേര്‍ന്ന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് നേരിടും എന്ന് തമാശ രൂപേണ പറയുന്ന ചിത്രം, സമകാലീന കേരള രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലെ കപടത്തരങ്ങളും , പാരവയ്പ്പും എടുത്തുകാട്ടുന്നു.
ചെറിയൊരു സീനില്‍ മാത്രം എത്തുന്ന സനൂപ് മുതല്‍ അമേരിക്കന്‍ ആക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ വരെ എല്ലാംതന്നെ പെര്‍ഫെക്റ്റ്‌ ആയി കാസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു . ജഗനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന ആഗ്ലോ-ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പെണ്‍കുട്ടി ആയി നോര്‍ത്ത് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സുന്ദരി രാഗിണി നന്ദ്വാനിയും എത്തുന്നു.
പൂനം ബാജ്വവായുടെ ഐറ്റം നമ്പരും ചിത്രത്തിനു മിഴിവേകി.
ഇടവേളയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം അല്പം പതുക്കെ പോയ ചിത്രം. ക്ലൈമാക്സ്‌ ആയപ്പോഴേക്കും ആവശ്യത്തില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വേഗത്തില്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് , കാഴ്ച്ചക്കാരില്‍ വിരസത ഉളവാക്കിയത്‌ ഒഴിച്ചുനിര്‍ത്തിയാല്‍ ഒരു സമ്പൂര്‍ണ ആഘോഷ ചിത്ത്രമാണ് പെരുച്ചാഴി....
