After Joshiy's Lokpal,Mohanlal has joined Lal Jose's long time associate Salaam debut film "Red Wine". The highlight of the movie is the inclusion of Fahad Fazil in the cast along with Asif Ali, who are part of a Mohanlal movie for the first time in their respective careers.The film is scripted by newcomer Maman K Rajan and the tunes are set by Bijipal.The film is produced by Gireesh Lal under the banner Gouri Meenakshi Movies, who also produced films like Rakthasakshikal Zindabad,Manikyakallu & Outsider.
