Bollywood new sensation Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD), which
has been directed by Ayan Mukerji, is not only biggest opener of 2013 in India,
but also in other foreign key markets like USA, UK, UAE, Australia and New
Zealand. The Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer has shattered the
records of Saif Ali Khan's Blockbuster movie Race 2, which was the biggest
opener of the year in all above mentioned countries. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
has been creating positive buzz, ever since producer Karan Johar announced it -
mainly for the association of Ranbir Kapoor's with his ex-girlfriend Deepika
Padukone. The makers had massive publicity for it along with its lead actors
promoting it on several TV shows. Adding to this, the movie garnered positive
reviews from film critics and a good word of mouth from the film goers across
the globe. The Karan Johar-produced romantic thriller opened to an overwhelming
response at the worldwide Box Office with its occupancy ranging between an
average of 90% and 100% everywhere on Friday. A good word of mouth took its
business upwards on Saturday. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has crossed Rs 50 crore
mark at the Box Office in just two days. It has collected approximately Rs
55.15+ crores nett at the global market. The biggest opener of the year, Race 2
had collected Rs 68.61 crores nett (Rs 51.35 cr in India and Rs 17.26 cr
overseas) at the worldwide Box Office in the first weekend. Whereas the two
days numbers (Rs 39.61 cr in India and Rs 15.54 cr overseas) of Yeh Jawaani Hai
Deewani are closer to the weekend total of Race 2. As per early trends, the
collection of the Ranbir-Deepika starrer is sure to surpass Rs 85 crore mark
worldwide in its opening weekend. We bring you the country-wise and day-wise
