The box office
collection report of Mohanlal starred ‘Drishyam’ . It hit silver screens as
Christmas release on 19th December, movie is witnessing a never seen
response from all the releasing centers across kerala. As per the reports,
movie has grossed a total of INR 6.70 Cr from the eight days of theatrical run
so far.
And the new theatre owners
are requesting to get the prints for more shows. Every theatre owners are
proclaiming that movie has given a fresh lease of life to the Malayalam film
industry that over the years has suffered from the lack of family audience
support. Well with ‘Drishyam’ scripting new records at box office, makers of the
movie, especially director Jeethu Joseph is an extremely happy man since his
previous movie – ‘Memories’ too turned out to be a super hit. Any way the
malayalies from Gulf countries, UK, USA are eagerly waiting for “Drishyam”
release over there. Delhi, Mumbai,Bangalore releases starts on 27 december
itself.
