Thoonga Vanam is an upcoming Tamil - Telugu bilingual neo-noir action thriller film directed by Rajesh M Selva starring Kamal Hassan, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Kishore and Asha Sarath. The film, which is a bi-lingual is being simultaneously shot in Telugu-language as Cheekati Rajyam with the same cast. The project is being jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Malayalam film production company, Sri Gokulam Movies. The film is an official remake of the 2011 French movie Sleepless Night(French: Nuit Blanche).
